Ghandruk Ghorepani Trek (9Nts/10 Days)

Nestled north of Pokhara, Ghorepani offers breathtaking views of the Annapurna and Mt. Dhaulagiri ranges. Less than 30 km from the Pokhara airstrip lies the majestic Mt. Fishtail (6,997m). This trek leads you through forests rich with rhododendron, birds, and ferns, with stunning Himalayan backdrops throughout. The region is home to the Magars and Gurungs—renowned for their service in the Gurkha regiments.

Outline Itinerary

Day 01 - Arrival in Kathmandu (1,300m / 4,264ft)

Day 02 - Kathmandu sightseeing & trek preparation

Day 03 - Drive to Nayapul, trek to Tikhedhunga (1,500m / 4,920ft) – 6 hrs drive, 2–3 hrs walk

Day 04 - Trek to Ghorepani (2,750m) – 4–5 hrs walk

Day 05 - Trek to Tadapani (2,670m) – 6–7 hrs walk

Day 06 - Trek to Ghandruk (1,940m / 6,364ft) – 5 hrs walk

Day 07 - Trek to Nayapul, drive to Pokhara (820m / 2,690ft) – 5 hrs walk, 1 hr drive

Day 08 - Pokhara sightseeing

Day 09 - Drive back to Kathmandu – 6 hrs
