Jungle Safari

Nepal’s landscape rises from its lowest point at 60 meters in Kechana Kalan of Jhapa to the highest point on Earth — Mount Everest at 8,848 meters. Within these elevations, Nepal showcases an incredible diversity that amazes visitors from around the world. The southern belt of Nepal, known as the Terai, is covered with dense subtropical forests, fertile farmland, and wetlands. More than 50 rivers flow through the Terai toward India in the south. This region offers some of the most exciting jungle safari destinations in the world.

Nepal is home to 10 national parks, 3 wildlife reserves, 6 conservation areas, and one hunting reserve. Among them, Chitwan National Park, Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve, and Bardiya National Park are the most popular jungle safari destinations in the Terai. These locations are well-connected by road and air, making them ideal for travelers of all age groups.

Our jungle safari trips include guided 4-wheel drive and elephant-back safaris deep into the jungle, visits to ethnic Tharu villages and their cultural dance performances, birdwatching, sunrise views over the river, trips to the elephant breeding center, canoe rides, and more.
